The programs of the Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) and its parent, the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC), are unique for several reasons. But, two of those reasons stand out. January 26, 2017 (Columbus) – The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) today approved nearly $184 million in state funding for school construction projects in four (4) school districts across the Buckeye state. Combined with $127 million in local funding, these projects represent more than $311 million in construction work. The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission is charged with keeping administrative code rule for the state's public improvements, which can be found in Chapter 153:1 of the Ohio Administrative Code. The Commission reviews these rules every five years as a part of the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review process. At the end of 2016, the Commission reviewed 11 rules and created one new rule. The Ohio School Facilities Commission shall hold a special meeting on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2:30 PM in the Rhodes Tower Hearing Room (Lobby), 30 East Broad Street, to consider and take action related to a proposed amendment to the Waverly City School District. The Commission may adjourn into Executive Session to confer with its counsel concerning a pending or imminent court action.
