The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission invites you to submit a proposal for one of the coveted speaker slots in our upcoming annual OFCC Conference.
The conference will be hosted in Columbus on a single date this year - August 1, 2019. The Conference will be held on The Ohio State University campus in the Archie M. Griffin Ballroom located in the Ohio Union.
OFCC estimates approximately 1,000 attendees at this year's conference based on historical attendance levels.
The format of the 2019 OFCC Conference will be similar to last year - with Ted-style presentations showcasing captivating speakers. This year, selected speakers will also follow the 10-20-30 Rule (10 slides, 20 minutes, font size no smaller than 30).
The presentations will be divided into the following topic areas:
The submissions will be evaluated on relevance to the topic categories listed above, quality of the topic, and presentation skills of the speakers. The speakers should be both engaging and entertaining to captivate the audience's attention throughout the presentation.
Content presented will be vendor neutral with no advertising or marketing information. If this occurs, OFCC will request alterations to the presentations. Selected speakers may also be asked to participate in a brief panel discussion or Q&A with others in the same tract. Application does not guarantee placement on the agenda.
