COLUMBUS (September 12, 2018) -- Ohio Governor John Kasich today announced the appointment of Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Director Jerry Wray to the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC). Wray will join Office of Budget and Management Director Tim Keen and Department of Administrative Services Director Robert Blair on the Commission, which oversees state-funded facilities construction for public K-12 schools, state agencies, colleges and universities.
Director Wray has served two terms as Director of ODOT under both the Kasich and Voinovich administrations. He is the first head of the agency to be named to the post twice in ODOT's 100-plus year history. He earned his civil engineering degree from the University of Akron and began his career at ODOT in 1969. He was elected and served as Licking County engineer from 1980 to 1990. He currently resides in Newark, Ohio with his wife, Eva. They have four grandchildren.
