As we approach the holiday season, the OFCC staff extends our thanks to each of you for your work this year on capital improvements for the state. This is the time of year to be mindful of our mutual ethical obligations with respect to gift giving. Governor Kasich Recognizes Commission as the World Leader in Environmentally-Friendly School Buildings

October 26, 2017 (COLUMBUS) – Ohio Governor John Kasich has recognized the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) and its staff for having surpassed 300 LEED-certified K-12 schools in Ohio, more than any other state in the country and making it the world leader in environmentally-friendly buildings. Commission Consolidation Announcement

Today marks the effective date for many provisions contained in H.B. 49 that are relevant to the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC). Part of the new law includes a further consolidation of the Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) into OFCC, and as a result all references to OSFC are being eliminated.
